What we collect when you order, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This site is operated by Shenzhen Zhongrui Kechuang Services Co., Ltd., a company registered in mainland China. We decide what personal data is collected here and why.
Write to us at support@royalfamilymen.com about anything on this page.
What we collect
Order details. What you bought, size and colour, the price you paid, the currency, the order number, order status and any exchange or refund tied to it.
Contact details. Your name, email address and, when you give it, a phone number for the carrier. If you create an account, your password is stored by our shop platform in a form we cannot read.
Shipping address. The delivery address and country you enter at checkout, plus the billing address if it differs. We pass the delivery address to the carrier because there is no other way to deliver a parcel.
Payment. Payments are handled by PayPal. You enter your card or PayPal details on PayPal’s own systems. We never see or store card numbers, CVV codes or bank details. What we receive back is a transaction identifier, the amount, the currency and whether the payment succeeded.
Site usage. Our shop platform records how the site is used: a visitor identifier, the page you arrived on, where you came from, the pages you view and when, and your browser and device type. We use this to see which pages work and to keep the site secure. We do not run advertising trackers on this site at the moment. If we add one, it will be named here before it starts collecting anything.
Cookies. The cookies and similar storage this site uses are listed in our cookie policy.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use order, contact and address data to perform the contract you entered into when you placed the order. We keep accounting records because tax and customs law requires it. We keep usage records and run fraud checks on the basis of our legitimate interest in a site that works and does not get abused. Newsletters are sent only to people who asked for them, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers, each of which only gets the data it needs to do its job:
Shoplus (our shop platform) — hosts this website, stores your order, account and newsletter subscription, sends order and shipping emails, and records the site usage described above.
PayPal — payment processing. PayPal is an independent controller for the payment itself and has its own privacy policy.
Carriers — receive your name, delivery address and phone number in order to deliver the parcel and to clear customs.
Google Fonts — serves the typeface this site uses; your browser requests it from Google, which sees your IP address.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose data to authorities only where the law obliges us to.
International transfers
We operate from mainland China. If you order from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong, your data leaves your country and is handled in China and by the providers listed above, which may themselves be located elsewhere. Ask us at support@royalfamilymen.com if you want to know where a particular piece of your data sits.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: kept for as long as tax, customs and accounting law requires, which is ten years in our jurisdiction.
Account data: kept while your account is open. Ask us to close the account and we delete it, except for the order records we are required to keep.
Newsletter subscription: kept until you unsubscribe, plus a record of the unsubscribe so we do not email you again.
Support email: kept for 24 months after the conversation ends.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access), to have wrong data corrected (rectification), to have data deleted (erasure), to receive it in a portable machine-readable format (portability), to restrict how we use it, and to object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent — the newsletter, for example — you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In the EU that is the data protection authority of the country you live in; in the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we have collected and where it came from, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Customers in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong have comparable access and correction rights under their own privacy laws, and we handle those requests the same way.
To exercise any of this, email support@royalfamilymen.com. We answer within one month. We may ask you for the order number or another detail so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
Children
This shop sells adult menswear and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top of this page and keep the previous version on file. If the change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we email everyone with an account or an open order before the change takes effect.
